To use these online tools below are some key instructions to help you and your team. If you need any further support, please contact membersupport@alphega-pharmacy.co.uk or call your Alphega Business Mentor
- All members of staff must have an Alliance Healthcare portal account to use these online tools
- If you have a tablet user account and previously used SOP Manager you must link your accounts to retrieve your old record
- The job role you set for your Alliance Healthcare portal account is very important as it will set the permission to grant you access to different levels of the system. To change this, log into the Alliance Healthcare portal, tap on ‘My Profile’ on the left hand side and then select the correct job role.
- If you are responsible for managing the SOPs at your pharmacy your job role must be set to ‘Pharmacist Superintendent’
- If you are responsible for signing off holidays, sick leave or new parent leave you must set your job role to ‘Owner / Director (Non Pharmacist)’
- If you are responsible for both of the above you must set your job role to ‘Owner / Director (Pharmacist)’
- If you choose to use Alphega Team Manager, the admin at your pharmacy must set how much holiday each team member is entitled to. This will reset to 20 days at the beginning of each year.
- When using these online tools, we highly recommend you do not use a shared user account. A shared account means many people in the pharmacy use it and have access to it. As these tools are designed for individual team members, it is recommended that all users set up their own ‘Single use account’ and do not share access details with anyone else.
- How do I link my tablet account? You link your tablet account in two ways:
- Open the Alphega tablet app and select your name, a pop up will appear asking you to link your account. Tap on ‘Link your account’ and then login to the Alliance Healthcare portal
- Open the Alliance Healthcare portal and login using your user credentials, tap on ‘Alphega Settings’ from the menu on the left hand aside and then ‘Link your tablet app account’
- Why can’t I see some apps on the Alphega tablet?
- To provide a more reliable service and improve accessibility we have changed how you log into some of the apps on the Alphega tablet. To access, Stock Ordering and the Retail app please use the ‘regular’ login method by typing your Alliance Healthcare account number in and tapping on your profile. To access SOP Manager, Team Manager and MHRA Manager you must now use the Alliance Healthcare portal to login.
